Use of shea butter
Shea butter has been used in Africa for thousands of years. Unrefined shea butter has a strong, nutty scent, but the strong scent dissipates after a while. Today, many people remove the smell instead and make the cream whiter and softer during production, this increases the risk of nutrients and vitamins in the butter disappearing.
Shea butter can be used all over the body and in many different ways. You take a piece of the butter, warm it between the palms of your hands and apply it to the desired area. If you want to use it as a hair wrap, we recommend that you melt the butter first, either over a water bath or microwave, to facilitate the distribution of the shea butter on the hair. It also works just as well for the beard and the skin underneath.
To repair cracked heels, you can apply plenty of butter on your feet, put on a pair of cotton socks and let it work for a while. The result is magical!
The shea butter has a firm texture due to saturated fatty acids. If you prefer a softer texture, it is fine to whip the butter.
Storage and durability
Shea butter should be stored dry and at room temperature. The butter can last 1 - 2 years if stored at room temperature.
The price applies to 200 g of butter.
